LAMBERT consolidated five corporate offices into one efficient space in High Point for the Bank of North Carolina. This growing bank needed to convey messages to several constituencies. Management wished to convey financial stability and solidity, while also communicating the values and direction of a young, dynamic institution to staff and partners. All of the client's requests resulted in this vibrant upfit.
A palette of gray, taupe and beige formed the basis for the design, with a custom carpet reinforcing these tones and displaying a geometric motif found in many of the bank’s branches.
The focal point, a serpentine wall, aids orientation and forms a dynamic counterpoint to the mostly rectilinear plan along key circulation paths.
An orderly arrangement of private offices with millwork and glass fronts wraps the perimeter.
The Bank of North Carolina brand is echoed in the glass at the entry of the board room.
The board room's gentle tones create focus on the decorative ceiling.
Furniture was selected to complement the transitional environment, while the bank’s signature “Cardinal red” was used in upholstery and accents.
