This project entailed renovating a portion of the Lula Bell Houston Laundry building, originally built in 1919 on the campus of Davidson College. Updates to both the interior and exterior of the building included a new entryway and an overall new layout with new finishes, lighting, windows, and doors. The project consisted of renovating approximately 5,000 SF of the existing 7,000 SF Lula Bell Houston Laundry Building to provide a centrally-located office space for the Residence Life Office (RLO).For LAMBERT to improve access for students, in addition to collaboration space for Resident Advisors, the renovations included a new layout for staff offices, conference/meeting spaces, restrooms, storage, and break rooms.
